COLLEGE STATION, TX (KTRK) -- A Code Maroon was issued Wednesday afternoon for the campus of Texas A&M University.
The university-wide alert was issued at 12:25pm after an alleged bomb threat came in to Kyle Field. The university says the stadium and adjacent buildings will be closed for the remainder of the day.
Approximately 700 people were evacuated today from Kyle Field, Reed Building, G. Rollie White, Neetum Steed, and the Bright Athletics complex, according to A&M.
Adjacent parking lots (46, 48. 59, 62, and 69) are closed until further notice. For more information, please visit Transportation Services website at: http://transport.tamu.edu/
